and all other assorted agents of healing out there in blogland...the 3 year old's tonsils are going going going under the knife this a.m. and we'd sure appreciate your prayers, healing energy, thoughts however you express them this morning and for the rest of the week if you have it in you! thanks so much. love you g

he will sail right through the tonsilectomy. it's when you wait until he's older that it becomes a bit more complicated. nevertheless, my 21 year old neice had hers taken out last month and did fine. they told her the biggest chance for complications comes around day 10 because that's when they are healing and the scab can easily by knocked off and cause bleeding if you're not careful. keep him away from chips and pretzels an stuff like that until that period has passed! good luck!
