he is a toad, a western pa river toad. the girl found him by the rail road tracks along the boston bike trail just a stones throw from the yough river and we adopted him and named him hobo. he is living in a 10 gallon aquarium beautifully decorated with mulch and river rocks and a pond of

water where he is warm and safe in his cave burrowing in his mulch and staring out at the trees in front of the kitchen window and eating his fill of crickets!!!! we also looked at these kayaks, i bought one, the guy loaded it on the roof rack, the child jump seat was won on ebay and paid for with the proceeds of my old jeans and is on it's way. next stop the paddle store! then on to the water with it. i can't wait to try it out. this was a great deal and it's a great boat and should last us a long time and bring us a great many adventures with the grandaughter and with the boy who will be
four this month . how did that happen? how did the two year old get to be four?

and how did i get to be fifty four. and where did all this gray hair come from. well i'll take some more pics of my boat tomorrow and post them so you can see her in all her glory. mean while no knitting was done today but once again hospital knitting is scheduled for tomorrow...bright and early too so goodnite...sleep tight...don't let the bed bugs bite and hopefully hobo ate all those crickets or i'll be hearing from them all night! later love g
